Gadia Cleib
Gadia is the owner of the Amazon King, the Amazon Prince and the Yemenja. Gadia is on board almost every trip. Raised on the banks of the Araguaia River, a fisherman since he was 9 years old and being in the Amazon since 1994, Gadia had the dream of sharing with his fishing fellows all the splendor and the wealth of the Amazonian Forest and its rivers. His dream was realized in 1997, when he took a u-turn in his life to dedicate himself exclusively to the fishing tourism business.
Nowadays, Amazon Prince Fishing Tours is certainly one of the best in this area of fishing tourism on the Amazon rivers - whether you're talking about the comfort, and quality of equipment and services, or the strategies employed to discover shoals of fishes in accordance with the time of year. His experience in Amazonas is an invaluable commodity.
Mario Scotti
Mario Scotti is from Sao Paulo, Brazil and is the on-board manager of the Amazon King and the Amazon Prince yachts. He is one of sportfising most recognized anglers down in South America. Mario has been fishing since he was 6 years old and is still loving it. Mario Scotti fell seriously in love with the Amazon when he got hooked by his first Peacock Bass. That's right. The fish hooked the angler and since that day he just could not stop coming back to the Amazon season after season.
Now he is engaged with the Amazon Prince Group managing the International Liaison Division, bringing more and more foreign sportsmen, of whom he takes great care and enjoys sharing with them the best freshwater fishing in the world! Mario speaks English fluently and is on board the yacht on every trip to act as a translator, tour guide and your new fishin’ buddy. He makes the whole operation run smoothly. Steve McDonald
Steve McDonald lives in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and is the newest addition to our team. Steve serves as liaison to North America and Europe for Amazon Prince fishing tours. He is a true fisherman at heart and loves the Amazon as well as the peacock bass fishing. He owns and operates Bassmaster Guide Service Inc. which is South Florida’s premier fishing guide service for largemouth and butterfly peacock bass. Steve is the person that you will talk to when you make your reservations and will answer any questions or concerns that you may have about the trip. He will also be meeting you at the airport in Miami and is your American escort and guide for the trip. You will enjoy his company.
